Sorghum & light crop fingers

These innovative Harvest Aids were originally designed by Cliff Broad and the torch was passed to Sub-Arc in  2013. The unique design has been available since 1995, they work more efficiently than other varieties of fingers.

Our crop fingers are manufactured from 3mm steel and designed with the right gap to accommodate wide row spacing. Combined with a sleek underside profile, you get better crop flow and reduced loss.

4" Knife - John Deere Belt Front and Mid West 3 Finger Guard = 34mm
3" Knife - All other Models = 27mm/28mm

Easy clean out

Sub-Arc’s specialised design makes for easy clean out and reduced weed spread. There is no place for residue to build up, which discourages rust. Our design means less work and  longer life.

Rounded Underside

The Rounded Underside works well to deflect obstructions.  It enable the fingers to 'glide' over rocks and sticks thus preventing them from entering the front.  We recommend leaving Sub-Arc Crop Fingers on  year round for added knife protection.

Tungsten grit application and hardfacing

We precisely apply tungsten carbide to a variety of ground engaging tools increasing the tools life many times. Applications include ripper teeth, agricultural points, any ground engaging tools and more.  Wear Plates: Tungsten applied to mild steel backing plate cut to suit your requirements.

Grouser plate relugging

 Submerged Arc automated welding process used to attach the new lug to your existing grouser plate.
